The Special Adviser to Kogi state governor on Good Governance and Due Process, Honourable Aturu Ojo has congratulated the chairman-elect of Ogori-Magongo Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu and the Councillors-elect for their well deserved victories at the just concluded local government elections in Kogi State.
Honourable Aturu Ojo who congratulated the newly elected leaders of the local government , described their victories as the mandate of the people of the local government.
He charged the elected officials of the local government to be magnanimous in their victories by carrying every body along in the administration processes of Ogori-Magongo local government.
The Special adviser who thank the people of the local government for coming out in their large numbers to perform their civic responsibilities and for voting all the candidates of APC in the elections , assured the electorates that the new leadership of the local government will delivered the desired dividend of democracy to the people.
He solicited the support and cooperation of Ogori-Magongo people to enable them perform their statutory obligations of moving the local government forward.
He thanks His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for creating a level playing ground for all the political parties in the state to showcase their popularity and strength in the elections.
Honourable Aturu Ojo who praised the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission for conducting free , fair and credible council elections, thank the electoral officers for not disappointing the commission during the elections.
