Kogi Guber: Gamji distance self from rumoured purchase of APC Governorship nomination form.

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Alhaji Sanusi Abubakar Gamji on Saturday debunked the news making the round that he has purchased APC Governorship nomination form for kogi state.

This was contained in a statement personally signed by Alhaji Abubakar Gamji and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Kogi state.

He noted that he couldn’t have obtain the nomination form without informing his teeming supporters and other critical stakeholders in the state who believed in his leadership.

According to him, as chairman of the Kogi elders forum, the group has contributed money towards the purchase of nomination form for Honourable James Abiodun Faleke to contest the Governorship election.

“It is the right of any Kogi indigene to aspire for any political office in the land, that is why we are supporting one of our own.

“The beauty of democracy is the participation of qualify people in democratic process, it may interest you to remember that during the APC presidential primary some friends of Asiwaju contested the primaries with him but as soon as there is a winner everybody collapse into his mandate” he said.

Gamji called on all his teeming supporters to be calm and discountenanced the rumour that he has procured a governorship nomination form.
