Special Adviser , Aturu Ojo Commends Governor Ododo for flaging-off Special Intervention projects in Ogori-Magongo

Honourable Aturu Ojo the Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Good Governance and Due Process has applauded His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for the launching and flagg -off of special intervention projects in Ogori-Magongo for the People Living With Disability (PLWD).

Honourable Ojo who was full of praises to the governor and the Management of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency during the presentation of start-up cheques to the Ogori-Magongo PLWD, said the effort will mitigate the scorching effect of the economic downturn and hardship currently facing the people at the grassroot.

The Special Adviser commended the Atuluse of Ogale-Idioro and General Manager of the Agency, Chief Dauda Momoh for the
intervention projects, saying the effort will go a long way in addressing challenges in vulnerable communities of the state.

He urged the members of PLWD in Ogori-Magongo to take the advantage of the project to improve their standard of living, assuring that His Excellency the Governor of the day will do more to improve the livelihood of the community through his line-up empowernment programmes.

The projects which would be executed under the Social Services Infrastructure of the Nigeria Community Action Resilience Economic stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme, would include renovation of Basic Health Centers at Eti-Odo Magongo and Okibo Ogori; Provision of Drugs, Hospital Equipment and Provision of Assistive Equipment to Persons with Special Needs in Ogori-Magongo.
