The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Good Governance and Due Process Honourable Aturu Ojo has congratulated the Executive Governor of the State His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo over the establishment of the Barefoot Renewable Energy College at the Confluence University (CUSTECH) Osara in Kogi State.
Honourable Aturu in a statement issued in Lokoja the State capital, he described the feat as another source through which Kogi State can achieve its dream of massive development.
He said Governor Ododo’s commitment and collaboration with institutions would continue to enhance rapid development of the State, noting that the successful ground-breaking ceremony for the establishment of barefoot renewable energy college in Osara indicated that the state is on the path of development.
Reeling out some of the significance of renewable energy, Honourable Aturu said
it can significantly cuts down on carbon emissions, helping to mitigate climate change.
He commended the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) for bringing the project to Kogi State and assured that the objectives of the project would be achieved for the people of Kogi and Nigeria at large.
The Special Adviser however called for continue support to His Excellency to enable him achieve more developmental feats and transformations for the state.
