The Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Mr Elijah Evinemi, has congratulated His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his Supreme Court victory, confirming his election as the duly elected Governor of Kogi State.
This was contained in a congratulatory message Mr Evinemi issued in Lokoja on Sunday.
He said, God would not have allowed the truncation of the quality services the Governor has been rendering to the people of the state since his assumption of office.
The Head of service, who praised Governor Ododo for his prompt payment of civil servants’ salaries among other welfare packages, assured him of the resolve of all workers in the state to play their roles to ensure the success of the present administration’s programmes and policies.
He prayed to God to continue to endow him with good health, long life and the wisdom to discharge his duties as Governor of the state.
He also used the opportunity to reiterate his call for the entire state workforce to rededicate themselves to their duties, emphasizing that there will be no room for indolence and other vices under his watch.
