Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) on Friday commenced distribution of sensitive and non sensitive materials to all 21 local government areas of the state.
The Chairman of the Commission, Mamman Nda Eri who disclosed this during the distribution of the sensitive materials, noted that the commission is fully ready to conduct free, fair and credible election.
He pointed out that all the local government electoral officers are already on ground to move the materials to various local government areas and various wards after collection from the SIEC office.
He mentioned that there will be restriction of movement on Saturday as from 7am to 4pm to ensure peaceful conduct of the council elections.
He also stated that accreditation and voting will commence by 9 am and end by 3pm, assuring that security men will be on ground at various polling stations to make sure that the election is conducted under a peaceful atmospheres.
