CUSTECH COMMENCES SECOND SEMESTER EXAMINATIONS AS VC CONVEY GOODWILL MESSAGES TO STUDENTS
The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara on Monday 17th January, 2022 has began the Second Semester Examinations.
The Institution resumed Second Semester academic activities on Monday 29th September, 2021 and went on Christmas and New Year break from Monday 20th December, 2021.
This message was contained in statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the ivory tower Mr Balogun Omeiza David which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday.
The statement hinted that CUSTECH resumed academic activities on Wednesday the 5th of January, 2022 preparing the students for ten days before the commencement of their exams.
According to the stayement, the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku has conveyed his goodwill message of success to all the students.
In his words, “I am happy for your safe return to school after the holidays. Without any iota of doubt, I am quite sure the days set aside by your lecturers for revision will go a long way to refresh your memories and also serve as great help to make you all write well and pass with flying colours. May this surely be your lot as you put pen to paper.”
The statement further added that Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara is presently running eleven programmes namely: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering and Information Technology, noting that students are being examined based on the approved programmes.
The statement added that more courses are expected to be introduced shortly as the university awaits the visit of the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) just as the Second Semester examination will come to an end on Friday 28th January, 2022 that is, two weeks from today.
The students will thereafter commence the end of 2020/2021 session vacation. The Management of CUSTECH has fixed first week of March, 2022 for the take off of the 2021/2022 academic session.
