The Acting Executive Chairman, Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, Alh. Sule Salihu Enehe, a leader par excellence, dynamic, young and vibrant, has done it again on one among many of what past leaderships of the Service could not achieve for the Staff of the organisation owing to his usual humane characteristics to undauntedly prioritise the welfare of the Staff to motivate them in achieving the mandate of the Service.
Interestingly, since he assumed the position of the Executive Chairman of the organisation in acting capacity just a year ago, his quest to change the narrative of staff welfare remained solid in his mind.
He demonstrated the zeal through prompt payment of monthly staff salary and payment of outstanding and current staff claims, and even professional bodies payment refund accumulated.
Not satisfied even yet with such achievements, the workaholic Chairman with his relentless management team, on several fora, promised to improve the welfare of the Staffers of the Service better than it was.
In fulfilment of his promises to the staff, Salihu Enehe, an expert in tax administration, approved step nocturnal for the Staff and today, he is at the verge of approving staff promotion, a feat that was near impossible in the past.
Also, he has paid a bogus bonus to ease the biting inflation that has virtually turned the Staff to “white collar peasants” in our society.
It is often said that to whom much is given, much is expected in return. With these positive progresses being experienced by the Staff, I am optimistic that staff performance will begin to hit a new high, attaining newer peaks after another, as we continue to surpass the mandate given to us in tax administration.
More grease to your elbow, our leader and unequaled Super Boss of KGIRS.
