Former Kogi AG hails peaceful conduct of elections in Kogi, Commends Gov. Bello for quality leadership style

The former Accountant General of Kogi state Alhaji Jibril Momoh, has attributed the peaceful conduct of all elections in Kogi state to Governor Yahaya Bello’s style of quality leadership in the state

Momoh who is one of the leading aspirants in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Kogi state, said the recently concluded elections in the state, particularly in Okene his local government and Kogi central, was free, fair and transparent without any rancour.

“The INEC officials came on time and the process commenced as scheduled.

“I appreciated the efforts of the media and the civil society organisations for sensitizing electorates and the candidates that election is not a do or die affair, that effort has contributed emensely to the peaceful conduct of the presidential, National and state houses of assembly across the state.

“Governor Yahaya Bello has also done a lot to ensure that there is absolute peace during elections because after the exercise people will still come back as brothers and sisters.

“Our hope is to see a better and more united Kogi state where everyone will in peace and harmony, where development will thrive” he said
