The Executive Secretary, Kogi State Emergency Management Agency (KOSEMA), Hon. Mouktar Atimah has described the appointments of Ward Special Assistants across the 239 Wards in the State by Kogi State Government as another political innovation of APC agenda and grassroots development by Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
The Executive Secretary made the assertion in a congratulatory message to the newly appointed Ward Special Assistants to the Governor, noting that the appointments have once again motivated and boosted the morales of the people at various ward levels and Kogi residents to rally support for our committed Governor to succeed by “consolidating on the good work of his predecessor” in leading Kogi State to economic sustainability.
He urged the Ward Special Assistants to discharge their duties with dedication and patriotism, stating that the essence of their appointments is for the administration to carry everybody along in the scheme of thing and get feedback from the grassroots.
While thanking Governor Ododo for his inclusive leadership and commitment to good governance since assumption of office, the Executive Secretary described Gov. Ododo as a political rare species who has been positively meeting with the needs and aspirations of the people.
Atimah thanked His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for the peaceful conduct of the Local Government Chairmanship/Councilorship primary elections and congratulated all the APC Candidates that emerged victoriously.
He expressed optimism and confidence that APC would win all the seats across the 21 Local Government Areas in the upcoming Councils’ elections.
