Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Good Governance and Due Process Honourable Aturu Ojo has congratulated Kogi State Governor His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his well deserved victory at the Supreme Court, describing the judgement as another landmark achievement for the All Progressive Congress and the people of the State.
Hon. Aturu Ojo in his congratulatory message issued in Lokoja on Friday, said the victory of His Excellency from election petition tribunal up to the Apex Court shown clearly that Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and APC have no rival in Kogi State.
He said that the Supreme Court’s judgment had consolidated the nation’s democracy and also strengthened Nigerians belief in the administration of justice in the country.
“This victory at the Supreme Court has affirmed the will of majority of Kogi people and a confirmation that APC won the November 11, 2023 free , fair and credible.
“The judgment is a great relief for the people of Kogi State.
This victory also marks a new dawn for the state, as Governor Ododo’s exceptional leadership and commitment to progress have been reaffirmed.
“Since January 27, 2024 when His Excellency took the mantle of leadership of the State, he had demonstrated an unwavering dedication toward uplifting the lives of the citizens, setting new standards of governance through prudent and prompt payment of staff salaries and pensions” he stated.
The Special Adviser urged the people of the State irrespective of religion and political affiliation to support Governor Ododo’s administration to enable him actualized all his laudable plans for the people of the State.
