Maigari of Lokoja Flags-off Distribution of Food Stuff To Over 3,000 Vulnerable Households in Lokoja LGA

As part of effort to feed the less privilege during this year’s Ramadan fasting, Isah Kutepa Foundation has expended the sum of 75 million naira to distributes food items to over 3000 households in Lokoja local government area of Kogi state.

The Foundation under the chairmanship of His Royal Highness, the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, on Saturday flag-off the distribution of the food stuff to residents of Lokoja Emirate Council.

gratitude to the founder of the Foundation, Alhaji Abdulraq Isah Kutepa for the gesture and called on district heads to justify the confidence reposed in them by reaching out to the vulnerable persons in their various communities.

The royal father who was represented by the Maiyaki of Lokoja Alhaji Ali Lawal directed the district heads to constitute committee for the effective and rancour free distribution of the Ramadan palliatives in their various areas, warning them against diversion or any unholy behavior that can impede the integrity of the intention of the foundation.

“As leaders in your localities , you must justify the confidence reposed in you by making sure the items get to the vulnerable persons and the needy” he said.

The monarch urged well meaning individuals in the society to emulate Isah Kutepa foundation as a trusted channel for their philanthropic endeavors adding that, “Islam, particularly during Ramadan, the act of feeding the needy is considered extremely important as it embodies a core Islamic value, strengthens community bonds, and offers significant spiritual rewards.

Quoting from the Prophetic teachings, the royal father said “The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized the virtue of feeding others, stating that the best of you are those who feed others especially the less privilege”

Items distributed includes; rice, beans, millet, maize, guinea-corn, sugar, groundnut oil and spaghetti.
