Luk 17:26 – 30 “And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.”
Instead of the human family to love one another as a precondition to escape the impending judgement of God, the human family rather takes to judging and condemning one another Mat 7:1-2 “Judge not, that ye be not judged.
For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
Recall that it was God who gave this instruction, rather than abiding by this instruction all societies, countries, communities, villages and families have decided to go contrary to the injunction of God that says “Judge not one another in order for you not to be judge with the same measure”.
Remember that all have sinned and there is no man or woman qualified and competent to judge another person, this is because all human beings are declared wanted by Almighty God for one sin or the other.
Thus, it is imperative that all comply with the injunctions of our Lord Jesus Christ to love, forgive and be merciful to one another, in order to have salvation.
In view of the injunctions of our Lord Jesus Christ, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu continuously admonish humanity to forsake sin and abide in love for one another.
He emphasizes love because the Holy Spirit is love and radiates oneness, peaceful coexistence, humility, mercy, patience, forgiveness and other virtues of the Almighty God.
Love is the key and passport to enter the Kingdom of God promised by our Lord Jesus Christ. For without love, the human family is banned to suffer and be doomed.
