Dr Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale appointed as new Provost of FCE Okene

The Governing Council of the Federal College of Education (FCE) Okene, Kogi State through a diligent process has approved the appointment of Dr Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale as a substantive Provost of the College.

In a statement issued by the Director of Information/ Public Relations of the institution, Jibril Abdulrahaman, revealed that Dr Mosimabale’s appointment would take effect from 27th of September, 2025.

According to the statement Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale before his appointment, is a member of the College Governing Council representing the Academic Board and also the Director of Examination.

He is also a Chief Lecturer in the department of social studies.

Born on 30th June,1968 and hails from Ogori, in Ogori-Magonogo Local Government Area of Kogi State,
Dr. Ibrahim is an erudite scholar and researcher of international repute who has numerous research work and publications to his credit.

He holds the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in 1991 and thereafter between 1993 to 1997 he was at the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he bagged his Bachelor of Education, in Social Studies.

Subsequently, he bagged both his Masters and Ph.d degrees from University of Benin between 2008 and 2018 respectively.

He is a proud alumnus of Ilorin Teachers’ College and Abdul Aziz Atta Memorial College, Okene, Kogi State.

Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale is a member of numerous professional bodies, including, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Social Studies Association of Nigeria (SOSAN), International Centre For Science Humanities And Education Research
(ICSHER), among others.
