2027 : ADC will take over Kogi, Nigeria, Senator Ogbeha assures , unveil ADC in Kogi East

 

Senator Tunde Ogbeha the Zonal National Vice-Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in charge of North Central has expressed optimism that the ADC will dislodge the ruling APC in Kogi state and Nigeria in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

The ADC chieftain who was visibly delighted over the mammoth crowd that attended the unveiling of ADC in Kogi East on Saturday at Anyigba in Dekina local government area of Kogi State, assured that the coalition would work to secure the future of Kogi state and Nigeria at large.

“With what I have seen here today , it gives me a great pleasure that ADC will no doubt secure the future of Kogi east and influence the future Kogi as a state.

“Kogi east have the number and we are happy that our party ADC has your support. Therefore we will not have any reason not to change the narrative of the state and that of the country.

“In the last two years hunger, poverty and insecurity among others have ravages our country and we must change that narrative and move from poverty to prosperity, and the only party that can bring the prosperity to this nation is ADC.

“Our party will not require a third party from any part of the world to come and tell us how to secure our country. ADC has the capacity to secure the country in the best possible way. We feel your pains and we know your desires and our party will provide your desires for you” he stated.

He urged members and supporters of the party to remain steadfast with ADC, assuring that the party will win the 2027 general elections even without money.

“The next general elections will not only be for ADC, but for the people of Nigeria. The election will be between APC the ruling party and the people of Nigeria and i am optimistic that victory will certainly be ours. If we do not indulge in anti-party activities there is no reason why we can not dislodge APC in Kogi state and Nigeria at large.

While urging ADC members and supporters to bear in mind that the task ahead is enormous, Senator Ogbeha pointed out that the task ahead requires collective sacrifice, stressing that the people’s wish shall prevail in 2027.

He urged the youth and women in ADC to rise up and organize themselves to change the narrative for the betterment of their future and that of the their children.

Earlier in his speech the ADC leader in Kogi east and former Deputy Governor of Kogi state, Hon. Simon Achuba, said the people of eastern senatorial district of the state joined the coalition to change the existing anomalies in the governance of Kogi state and Nigeria.

“We have decided to adopt ADC to bring internal democracy the party holds. ADC is a party that will prioritize the welfare , well being , justice and the unity of our people in Kogi state.

“Governance in Kogi state has been misplaced for long . Basic education, rural health among others no longer exist in rural communities. Local government councils that suppose to address the needs of communities are no longer functioning, that is why ADC has come to effect positive change” he stated.

Also in his speech, the Kogi State Chairman of ADC Mr Kinsley Temitope Ogah , assured that the party will produce the next president of Nigeria and called for the unity of the party in Kogi state.

The ADC leader in Kogi west and former Secretary to Kogi State Government Alhaji Musa Ahmadu in his goodwill message, said “if members can work together as one without any sentiment, Kogi state and Nigeria would become ADC”.

“We should not have doubt about this coalition. This is how APC took governance of the nation from PDP in 2015. If we are determine this coalition will be possible and it will come as a surprise to Nigerians” he stated .

Also in his goodwill message, the deputy national welfare secretary of ADC Mr David Itopa who spoke on behalf of the people of Kogi central said “the crowd I have seen today has shown that the people of Kogi east are determine to take over the leadership of the state”

He noted that ADC is the party of the youth and women, and urged them to work hard so that the party can be victorious come 2027.
