Igala Students Association set for 2023 convention, unveils adjusted timetable as extraordinary convention holds December 30th, 2023.

The apex Igala Students Association (National Secretariat) has expressed it’s readiness to elect new officials that will oversees its affairs in the next dispensation.

This, the outgoing exco says their tenure has elapsed hence to conduct election to fill some vacant positions inline with her constitutional guidelines.

The National body of Igala Students Association wish to inform all Chapter Presidents, Secretaries, Delegates, Aspirants, all Igala Students Worldwide and the general public that the timetable for her upcoming 2023 Extra-Ordinary Convention is out.

The President of the Senate Igala Students Association National the person of *Sen. Muhammed Suleiman Husseini* wish to invite all Igala Students to take part in every aspect of this program as this will give room for progress, unity among the Igala Students to come under one umbrella, the Extraordinary Convention, set to take place from 28th December, 2023 to 31st December, 2023 at The Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba, promises an exhilarating lineup of events, sessions and activities for attendees.

Key highlights of the Extraordinary Convention timetable includes:

1. Screening of aspirants by the screening Committee: 28th December, 2023

2. Aspirants Manifesto (physical/Virtual): 28th December, 2023

3. Release of Screening results: 29th December, 2023

4. Submission of list of Registered Accredited Chapters for election by the accreditation Committee: 29th December, 2023

5. Arrival of Senators: 28th December, 2023

6. Accreditation of Senators: 30th December, 2023

7. Convention/Election proper: 30th December, 2023

8. Release of Election Results: 30th December, 2023

8. Departure: 31st December, 2023

In a separate remark, The Elcom Chairman Sen. Adukwu Gideon Arome said the Convention will be one of the best of its kind as we shall make this year Convention/Election the bedrock of democracy and urge all aspirants to adhere to the rules of the game so as not to be a defaulter.

Promise to make the Election part of the Convention a remarkable one by delivering a transparent, credible, free and fair elections that is slated to hold on the 30th December, 2023.

On the aspects of publicity the Elcom Media and publicity Secretary Comr. Yusuf Gideon Ojotule said there shall be publications relating to every segment of the program that will be in circulation before, during, and after the election to all Igala Students so as to serve as reminder in the upcoming Convention.
