As the preparation for the First Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival hits top gear, the CEO of Gafiligadoki Communication and G- films Academy, Amb. Nyam Terkimbi Terry, CEO of Gafiligadoki Communication and G-Films Academy, has the Philippines Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Mersole J. Mellojor, to discuss further collaboration.
This visit according to Amb. Terkimbi Terry, was in preparation for the upcoming Benue Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival.
He stressed that Benue Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival promises to be a groundbreaking event in Benue State, highlighting the state’s incredible untapped stories and breathtaking landscapes.
The event is also aimed at uniting the creative industry, proposing a world-class acoustic music studio and film village to showcase the talents of local artists.
The Gafiligadoki boss further emphasized the need for partnership and collaboration with Philippines, who are known to be among the top creative promoters.
“This partnership could potentially pave the way for international collaborations and exchanges, further promoting Benue State’s creative industry,” he added.
Responding, the Philippines Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Mersole J. Mellojor applauded the Organization’s efforts in paving way for the Young minds.
While expressing enthusiasm for visiting Benue and exploring its rich cultural heritage, the Philippines Ambassador said the Philippines government would explore other ways of collaboration to ensure the success of maiden event.
The Benue Creative Summit and MACA International Film Festival is set to make its mark as the first event of its kind in Benue State, celebrating African filmmakers and cinema.
With its diverse programming, including film screenings, workshops, and cultural exhibitions, this event is poised to become a premier platform for creative expression and innovation.
