The Vice-Chancellor of Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU), Anyigba, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued on behalf of the management, staff and students of the university, the Vice-Chancellor described Oyibo as a visionary leader, dependable statesman and a committed advocate of peace, unity and sustainable development in Kogi State.
Prof. Usman noted that the Deputy Governor has continued to distinguish himself through humility, integrity and selfless service, adding that his loyalty and dedication have been instrumental in supporting the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He commended Oyibo’s contributions to the growth and development of the state, particularly his support for policies and programmes aimed at promoting unity and prosperity.
“Your contributions to the growth and development of Kogi State, as well as your steadfast support for policies and programmes that promote unity and prosperity, are highly commendable.
Your leadership remains a shining example of commitment, resilience and patriotism,” the statement read.
The Vice-Chancellor also prayed that God would grant the Deputy Governor sound health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the state and humanity.
