Provost  Hails Redeployed NSCDC Officers, Calls Transfer a Step Forward

The Federal College of Education (FCE) Okene has organized a mini send-off ceremony in honour of officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who were recently redeployed after years of service to the College.

The event, held as part of the institution’s efforts to reward diligence and dedication, celebrated the contributions of the officers who served the College for nearly eight years before their reposting to other operational areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Provost, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale, described transfers within the civil service as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks.

He urged the officers not to view their redeployment with regret but as a stepping stone to greater achievements in their careers.

He commended the officers for their unwavering commitment and professionalism, noting that they were leaving the College with their integrity intact and heads held high.

Also speaking, the Registrar, Mr. Yinusa Umar, praised the officers for their exemplary conduct throughout their service.

He stated that there had been no record of misconduct against any of them, either within the College or from the public.

Umar further charged the newly deployed officers to uphold the same standards of discipline and dedication demonstrated by their predecessors in the discharge of their duties.
