CUSTECH Osara Matriculates 220 Students for 2021/2022 Academic Session

No fewer than 220 new students have been matriculated into the second set of Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara  for the 2021/2022 academic session of the institution.

Addressing the matriculants after the oath taken by the students which was administered by the Registrar Ms. Olufunke Hudson of the university, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Salawu Sadiku charged the new students  to shun all vices such as  examination malpractices, stressing that whoever is  caught indulging in the act will surely be expelled from the institution.

According to him “Every student is very much loved, respected and dear to us until he or she proves otherwise”

While advising  the students to be security conscious as the  society is presently facing  security challenges, the Vice Chancellor , also  warned the fresh students not to belong to any cult related group or tied to the apron strings of religious extremism, saying  CUSTECH, Osara has zero tolerance for such behaviours.

He  reeled out the available programmes offered by CUSTECH, Osara which includes: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Statistics, Computer Science, Cybersecurity Science, Information Technology and Software Engineering.

Others are Geology, Applied Geophysics, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

Professor  Sadiku said “we are desirous of bringing in new programmes in Environmental Sciences, Management Sciences and Technology by the next  session.

He  appreciated His Excellency, Alh. (Dr.) Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for  his unrelenting efforts in promoting and sustaining science education for the  benefits of the teeming  youth in the state as exemplified practically in his meteoric development of CUSTECH, Osara.
