2023 : APC Presidential Candidate promise to confront security, revamp the economy

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has promised to work assiduously to confront security challenges, revamp the economy and target double-digit Gross Domestic Product (GDP) if giving the mandate to govern the country.

Tinubu stated this in a speech delivered on his behalf by Kogi state Governor Yahaya Bello at a solidarity walk held at Muhammadu Buhari Civic Centre in Lokoja organized by members and supporters of APC across the twenty one local government areas of the state.

According to him , the incoming administration would also increase megawatts of electricity to power the businesses in Lokoja in order create jobs to make life meaningful to the citizenry.

The APC flag bearer who appreciated the party loyalists that trooped into the confluence city from all over the state to demonstrate support and solidarity for him and his running mate, Sen. Kashim Shettima, assured that the voice and demands of Kogi people would be attended to by the incoming APC administration.

Tinubu who also sympathised with the the Government and people of Kogi over the flood disaster that ravaged many homes and farmland , assured that issues of flooding will be a thing of the past when he takes over as the president of the country.

He therefore announced a donation of one hundred million naira to the victims of the flood in Kogi State to cushion the effects of the natural disaster.

He appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello who is the National Coordinator for Youths in his Presidential Campaign Council as well as members of the State Executive Council, and the people of Kogi State.
