Former Kogi Speaker Congratulates Ododo On His Victory At The Appeal Court.

Former Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has felicitated with the All Progressive Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Ododo Usman on his recent victory at the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

Recalled that the Court of Appeal in Abuja, on Friday, dismissed the appeal filed by a governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Abubakar Achimugu, seeking to nullify the primary election of the party, which produced Usman Ododo as the APC Governorship candidate for the election slated for November 11, 2023 in the state.

The court held in a unanimous judgment that the appeal challenging the judgment of the Federal High Court in Abuja lacked merit and dismissed it accordingly.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Prince Kolawole described the victory as voice of the people adding that this has finally stamped his victory for the coming November 11 Governorship election in the state.

He noted that the choice of Ododo as the party’s governorship candidate is a collective decision of the party members across that state which led to his victory the primary.

He therefore adviced those who are still nursing injury to come and for healing as the incoming governor is fully ready to carry everyone along when h is elected as the next governor of the state.
