Ododo Expresses Shock Over Death of Lokoja LGA Chairman
The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has expressed shock over the sudden death of the Executive Chairman of Lokoja Government Area, Honourable Muhammed Dan’Asabe Muhammed who passed on in the early hours of today in Lokoja.
In a condolence message made available to newsmen in Lokoja, the APC Governorship candidate commiserated with the family of the late chairman as well as the government and people of Lokoja local government area over the sudden demise of the local government chairman.
Ododo who extolled the leadership qualities of the late chairman described him as a hardworking leader and a dedicated party man.
He enjoined his immediate family and the larger APC political family in Lokoja to take solace in the fact the late chairman made remarkable contributions to the affairs of the local government and the party in the state.
He noted that the late chairman was a critical stakeholder in the government and the APC as party in Kogi State, adding that his contributions will be remembered by the government and the party in the state.
“I commiserate with the family of the late Honourable Muhammed and his larger political family in Lokoja and I pray that the almighty Allah will grant his soul peaceful repose.
This is a sad loss especially for us in the APC on the eve of the governorship election in which he contributed immensely to the success of our campaigns and preparations for the election.
Let me assure you that his legacies and his contributions to the affairs of the government and party in Kogi State shall not be in vain”, Ododo said.
