Adavi United 4 Ododo Takes Appreciation Visit To Traditional Rulers Over Ododo, APC’s Victory At The Poll

Adavi United 4 Ododo a foremost grassroots support group that campaigned for the election of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as the Kogi State Governor-elect has expressed appreciation to stakeholders in Adavi Local Government area for their support for the victory of the APC Governorship candidate in the November 11 election.

The group made this known during the appreciation visit to traditional rulers in Ogaminana, headquarters of Adavi Local Government Area on Sunday.

A statement by its Media Director, Comrade Salihu Obadaki said group which visited the Ohi of Adavi, His Royal Highness Muhammed Ireyi Bello and the Asema of Uka Clan Chief Momoh Nasiru respectively commended the traditional rulers for rallying other stakeholders in Adavi Local Government to vote overwhelmingly for the Governor-elect in the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi State.

At the palace of the Ohi of Adavi, the chairman of Adavi United4Ododo, Honourable Sadiq Yusuf Enevene praised the royal father for his role in the peaceful conduct of the Governorship election in the area and urged him to sustain his leadership role by offering useful advice, guidance and prayers to the Governor-elect, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as he prepares to take the mantle of leadership in the state.

In his response, the Ohi of Adavi, His Royal Highness Muhammed Ireyi Bello commended the leadership of Adavi United4Ododo for the courage and determination they invested in the campaigns that led to the eventual victory of Ahmed Usman Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State.

According to the Ohi of Adavi:
“This forum has done excellently well during the campaign for the governorship election because the intellectuals that make up the group demonstrated leadership qualities from which we hope that future leaders can emerge. I am overwhelmed by the efforts of the forum. This group is a mirror through which Adavi Local Government can attract development.”

He assured the group that the APC government in the state will continue to reward hardwork and loyalty by individuals and communities at all times in line with the leadership principle of Governor Yahaya Bello.

At the palace of the Asema of Uka clan, the group felicitated with the traditional ruler on the recent elevation of the stool of Asema of Uka to a first class traditional title and commended the state government under Governor Yahaya Bello for the enduring legacies of respect for the traditional institution, security, peace and support for the emergence of Ahmed Usman Ododo as the next Governor of Kogi State.

The chairman of Adavi United 4 Ododo, Sadiq Yusuf Enevene in his remarks, commended the efforts of the Asema over the victory of the Governor-elect in the just concluded governorship election and also expressed appreciation to the traditional ruler for identifying with the group.

Responding, the Asema of Uka Chief Momoh Nasiru who is a mentor and spiritual guardian of the group praised members of the group for utilizing their hard-earned resources and for sacrificing their time to create a viable support base that worked with other stakeholders for the success of the APC and the Governor-elect in Adavi Local Government Area.

“I sincerely appreciate the efforts of this group before and during the governorship election which usher in His Excellency Ahaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. The group has demonstrated patriotism and set the record straight in Adavi local government election that togetherness is key to the achievement of any meaningful development in the society”, he said.

The group plans to continue its appreciation visit to political leaders and community leaders in Adavi local government area for their support in the last governorship election.
