A former Governorship aspirant and a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Dr. Erico Joseph Ameh has appeal to Kogites to come out in their large numbers to vote overwhelming for the All Progressives Congress chairmanship and counselorship candidates across the 21 local government areas of Kogi state

While speaking with newsmen ahead the Kogi state Local Government elections scheduled for 19th October, the security expert said the Executive Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is providing good governance to the people of Kogi state, noting that the victory of the APC is assured owing to the good work the Governor is embarking upon on daily basis.

“You see, the Governor of Kogi state, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo has through the provision of good governance silent the opposition in the state, most of the LGAs have no opposition parties, gradually, Kogi state is becoming a one party state

” If you have a Governor who is providing his people with good governance, putting smile on the faces of his people and displaying purposeful and transparent leadership, there will not be room for opposition to thrive in that state, because, even the opposition themselves will identify and join him to move the state forward. Kogi state is a good example of this narration

“Be that as it may, this is the time for Kogites to reciprocate the good governance which His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is providing for them by trooping out in en-mass to vote overwhelming for all the chairmanship and counselorship candidates across the 21 local government areas so that the good governance Kogites are experiencing can continue even at the grassroot level.

“I also want to use this medium to appeal to the electorate to be peaceful and tolerate one another before, during and after the election, so that the peace we enjoy in Kogi state under the leadership of our results oriented Governor can be sustained across the nooks and crannies of the confluence state
