Kogi State Governor His Excellency , Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has been commended for empowering hunters with working tools to enable them deal decisively with criminals hibernating in the forest.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Good Governance and Due Process, Honourable Aturu Ojo gave the commendation in Lokoja on Thursday.
Hon. Ojo, said the distribution of security items and the insurance package for the hunters would spur them to ensure that forest in various communities are free of bandits and hoodlums.
He applauded His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kogi State for taking a proactive steps toward ensuring that the people of the State can sleep with their two eyes close.
“Security of life and property is paramount in any nation. Without adequate security nothing can be achieve, that is why we are commending our Governor for his concern over the welfare of the people” he said
