Ahead of October 19th , 2024 local government council election in Kogi State, the Special Adviser to the State Governor on Good Governance and Due Process Honourable Aturu Ojo has called on the people of Ogori-Magongo LGA to come out en-mass and cast their votes for APC Chairmanship candidate Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu and her Vice Williams Alao.
Hon. Aturu Ojo who made the call in a statement he issues on Monday also canvass votes for all the APC councillorship candidates in the local government area.
He expressed optimism that all the candidates of APC in the forthcoming will triumph, saying the candidates are men and women of unquestionable character that have distinguished themselves in the politics of the council.
He assured that their reign as leaders of the local government will bring a lot of unity, peace and development that the people of the council have been yearning for, describing the Chairmanship candidate as a woman who always fulfilled promises.
“The choice of Hon Rosemary Ohiezu and her Vice Williams Alao are good omen for Ogori-Magonogo local government. Therefore, we should support them, the councillorship candidates and APC to win all the positions landslide to prove to our leaders that Ogori-Magongo is APC and APC is Ogori-Magongo” he said.
While appreciating His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his support to all the candidates of APC in the local government, Hon. Aturu Ojo commended the state chairman of the party Alhaji Abdullahi Bello alias Dollar for his commitment in ensuring that APC triumph in the forthcoming local government election.
