Kogi Speaker Condemn Attack and Killings of Worshippers in Kabba-Bunu

The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole has condemned the recent upsurge of banditry activities which has resulted in killings and kidnapping of people in Kabba-Bunu local government council of the State.

Kolawole who is representing Kabba-Bunu State constituency at the Assembly , urged the residents to remain calm as the security agencies have been given matching orders to rescue those that were kidnapped and also apprehend the perpetrators.

The lawmaker said all hands must be on deck to address the menace noting that Kabba-Bunu cannot be a breeding ground for banditry in the state, saying Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello’s success story in the security sector of the state cannot be rubbish in his constituency.

While charging the security agents to curb the nefarious activities of the hoodlums, the Speaker appealed to the residents to support and cooperate with the security agents in the area by reporting all strange movements to the appropriate authority.

He sympathized with the families of the deceased and the people of Kabba community for the unfortunate incident and assured them that the perpetrators of the heinous act will be brought to book.
