NMMA Forum will Create Room For Exchange Of Ideas Among Journalists – NUJ Chairman

The Chairman, Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Adeiza Momohjimoh described the 29th edition of Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) holding in Lokoja the State Capital as a rare opportunity that would pave room for exchange of ideas that would enhance peaceful coexistence and economic growth of Nigeria.

This was contained in a statement signed by the NUJ Chairman in Lokoja on Saturday copies which was made available to newsmen.

Comrade Momohjimoh who stressed that the occasion, would no doubt provide an opportunity for cross fertilization of ideas between the local journalists and the visiting colleagues from across the country and beyond, noted that the union welcome the professional colleagues to the confluence state.

“On behalf of all members, I wish to sincerely welcome our esteemed professional colleagues from across the globe to Kogi state for the 29th edition of Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) holding as from 28th to 31st October, 2021”.

“I am also using this medium to congratulate the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for securing the hosting right for the state.

“It’s no mean achievement that the state is hosting the 29th edition of the biggest media event in Africa during our time.” he said.

“We call on people of the state to take advantage of the event to positively showcase our potentials and opportunities that abound in all the nooks and crannies of our dear state during the 3 – day event.”
