Enemona Foundation award scholarships to 5 physically challenge students of COE, Ankpa

As part of effort to support the education of vulnerable in the society , Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation has offered scholarship to five  physically challenged students of the Kogi State College of Education Ankpa.

Announcing the scholarship on Wednesday during the 39th orientation and matriculation of 650 students of the institution for 2021/2022 academic session, the Executive Director of the Foundation William Illah , said that the non governmental organization which has no political inclination stands for improving the lives of widow, orphans , people living with disability and the aged people in the society.

Illah noted that the scholarship award offered to five physically challenged students cut across the five schools of the College, adding that the award would  spur the beneficiaries to concentrate more on their studies.

He commended the management under the leadership of the provost, Dr. Muhammed Kabir Ibrahim for his vision that has led to the transformation of the college in the last one year.

“The foundation notes with great pleasure that since you came on board as Provost, Kogi State College of Education witnessed great change.

“There has been great enthusiasm among staff and students. Suffice to say students are academically revitalized, lecturers are eager to contribute their quota to developing the school and above all, there is appreciable improvement in terms of the physical infrastructures of this great teacher training institution.

“We equally noticed that since Dr. M.K Ibrahim assumed duty, policies and programmes geared towards improving the moral life of the students were introduced. This is what Enemona Foundation stands for: Improving the lives of our people in various ways” he added.

Earlier, the Provost of the College Dr Muhammed Kabir Ibrahim commended the Foundation for the award of scholarship to physically challenged students of the institution, and appealed to other well meaning indegene of the state emulate the humanitarian gesture of Ambassador Gabriel Onoja to better the society.
