Children’s Day : Enemona Foundation Call on Govt to provide security of life for Nigerian children

A Non Governmental Organization ‘Enemona Josh Humanitarian Foundation’ has called on the government at all levels to provide adequate protection for Nigerian children against all forms of abuse to enable them fulfil their future dreams.

The call was contained in a statement signed by the Executive Director of the foundation, Williams Illah which was made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Friday to felicitate with Nigerian children at the 2022 children’s day celebration.

The Foundation also appealed to federal government on the issues of enactment of the Child Rights Act aimed at giving children a sense of belonging, urging the government to see that the Act is domesticated by all states and the FCT.

“Let us all remain ever conscious of our duty to bring up our children with the right orientation and to bequeath to them a peaceful and prosperous society,” the statement added.

The statement charged children to be good ambassadors of the states and their parents and also urged them to shun vices that are inimical to their future.

“As children the society expect you to be of good behavior so that you can have a brighter future and be useful to your parents and the society” he advised.

While assuring them that the foundation shares their vision for a very bright future, the Executive Director urged the children to improve on their academic performance by preparing very well ahead of all examinations.

The foundation also charged parents to be more committed to the upbringing of their children in moral and discipline ways that the society would continue to cherish.
