Gov. Bello Appoints Hon. Justice Majebi as Kogi Acting CJ

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Monday appointed Justice Josiah Mejebi as the new Acting Chief Judge of the state.

The Governor while performing the swearing of the new Acting Chief Judge charged the jurist to discharge justice without fear or favour.

He described the Acting Chief Judge as a man of impeccable character and urged him to sustain the feat, assuring that his administration would not renege in supporting Judiciary to discharge its mandate as one of the arm of government.

In his response , Justice Josiah Mejebi promised quick dispensation of justice under his leadership and assured that Judiciary under him would uphold the tenet of an unbiased judiciary.

Justice Josiah Mejebi takes over from Justice Olorunfemi who retired last Sunday after clocking 65 years.
