The Vice Chancellor, Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku, has on behalf of the entire CUSTECH, Osara community, commiserated with the Kogi State Government and the entire Ebira nation on the demise of His Royal Majesty, Alh. (Dr.) Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land who passed on at the age of 94.
Speaking from his office at CUSTECH, Osara, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku said, “On behalf of CUSTECH, Osara community I deeply empathise with His Excellency, Alh. (Dr) Yahaya Bello (CON) the Executive Governor of Kogi State on the passage of the Ohinoyi of Ebira land which has plunged the entire state into mourning.
“I also extend my condolences to the Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers as well as the Ebira Area Traditional Council and Ebira nation on the exit of HRM Alh. (Dr) Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebira land.”
Speaking further on the revered paramount ruler of Ebira nation who was until his death the Vice Chairman of Kogi State Council of Traditional Rulers, Engr. Prof. Salawu Sadiku added that, “Death as we all know is inevitable and it is a journey that all mortals must be prepared to embark on when the time comes.
“However, no one will want to see a loved one taken away by death no matter how well stricken in age the person is.
“I know this period is indeed a trying moment for the immediate family of our late Ohinoyi and the entire Ebira nation. I enjoin all and sundry to take solace in the fact that the monarch had lived a fulfilled life. It is my profound prayers that God Almighty will grant us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.” He said.
