CHRISTMAS : Ex-Kogi Speaker Kolawole felicitates With Christians, calls for unity of Nigeria.

Former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Yomi Kolawole has felicitated with Christians in the country as he called for the unity of the nation.

This was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday and made available to newsmen in Lokoja .

Prince Kolawole noted that the unity of the nation is not negotiable adding that this season should be use by the Christians to prayer for the peace of the nation .

“I want to call on Christians to emulate the virtues of Christ, who through self-sacrifice brought salvation to humanity. We must embrace love, peace and unity even as He first loved us by giving Himself for us.

“Christmas reminds us of the reason for the season. It’s a time to inspire hope and spread the message of love.

“On this auspicious occasion, I wish all Nigerians a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

He commended the governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for bringing together the people of the state and making sure that the unity in the state is not tampered with in any way.

He averred that, Governor Bello has shown that he is a true leader that can weather the storm at any given time in view of his resilience in Nigerian politics.
