Egbira Dialogue Group Mobilize Religious Leaders and Egbira cultural heritage For Ododo

Towards the success of the Governorship ambition of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, the APC candidate in the forthcoming Election in kogi State,the Egbira Dialogue Group, in continuation of her sensitization/mobilization tour of kogi central have met with religious/groups and members of Egbira cultural heritage.

The group met with the Chief Imam of Egbira land, Sheikh Mohammed Salihu Abere during the week.

Speaking at the chief Imam residence, the leader of the visiting group, professor Habibat Isah Jimoh briefed the Chief Imam of the mission of the group and appealed that the people should support Usman Ahmed Ododo project to enable him consolidate on the achievements of governor Yahaya Bello.

Professor Jimoh also appealed to whoever is aggrieved should endeavor to forgive and forget in the interest of peace, unity and progress of Egbiraland.

Responding , the Chief Imam of Egbira land thanks the Intellectual group for embarking on the vital assignment and called for prayers, commitment and support from all kogites irrespective of tribe or religion.

The group also visited Reverend, Father Awolumate of the Catholic Church Okene and explained the mission of the group.

In his response, Father Awolumate commended the group for their love and concern for their father land.

He however appealed to them to prevail on the state government to address the prevailing suffering of civil servants, pensioners and primary school teachers at the local government level.

In a related Development, the group met and discussed Alhaji Usman Ododo Governorship project with members of Egbira cultural Heritage.

In his remarks on-behalf of Egbira cultural heritage, Chief Salihu who is the leader of the association expressed happiness with the visiting group.

He said that the group has ever remained supportive of all Egbira project and assured that in the same spirit they will key into Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo project for the growth and development of kogi central and the state.

The Association then prayed in the traditional way for the success of the project.
